The new album is a companion to the 'Singles 81-85' collection released in 1985. It also features the forthcoming single 'Only When I Lose Myself', recorded in London this year with producer Tim Simenon.ĭepeche Mode have sold over 35 million albums to date since their first single was released in 1981 their last album, 'Ultra', reached No 1 in the charts in 1997. The album contains every single the band has released since 1986, including 'Personal Jesus', 'Enjoy The Silence', 'Policy Of Truth' and 'Barrel Of A Gun' as well as 'Little 15', released as a single in France in 1988. The DVD finishes with an exclusive twenty minute documentary on Depeche Mode covering their career up to the release of the album '86-98'. At the start of the DVD is a ten minute interview with the band discussing the videos. There is also a video and DVD available from 20 March 2000. The 21 track album will be released on cassette, double CD and as a limited, numbered, boxed triple vinyl set.
